Eighteen lawyers, a shared drive, and a folder structure that four people maintain differently. Two matters last year had documents visible to people who should not have seen them, which for us is a serious event rather than an inconvenience. We need matter-based access, a full audit trail of who opened what, versioning, and search that does not index documents a user cannot access. Hosted in India. We will want to discuss where the data physically sits before anything else.
