Our article pages weigh 4.2MB and take eleven seconds on a mid-range phone outside Bhopal, which is where most of our readers are. Ad scripts are a large part of it and we cannot simply remove them. We want a rebuild that gets a usable article on screen in under three seconds on that connection while keeping our ad stack working. We understand this is a negotiation, not a magic fix. Hindi rendering and font loading are part of the problem. Please have dealt with Devanagari before.
