Sixty trucks running Mumbai, Pune, Surat and Indore with mixed loads. Today a dispatcher plans it on a whiteboard and it works, mostly, until he takes leave. We want a planner that respects driving hour rules, our loading dock windows, and the fact that some customers only accept delivery before 11am. Output has to be a plan a dispatcher can override, not a black box. We have two years of trip data including the deviations from plan, which are the interesting part.
